Irish launch for Love Those Shoes
An online footwear retailer which claims its shoes help you lose weight and reduce stress launches in Ireland today.
The UK-based www.lovethoseshoes.com has sold 87 million shoes across Europe since it was founded in 2003.
The footwear is designed so that the heel is at a lower level than the sole, which is believed to better relax the body.
The shoes claim to help the wearer relieve back pain, improve posture and circulation, and burn calories.
Celebrities like George Clooney, Britney Spears and Pierce Brosnan already own the footwear.
Glen Berd, managing director and founder of Cheshire-based Love Those Shoes, said today: “We expect to gain a sizeable share of the Irish market in line with the rest of Europe.”
The retailer sells a variety of styles for men and women and their spring/summer 2006 collection includes sandals, flip-flops and trainers.
It also markets a vegan range which are manufactured without using animal products.
