ISEQ up, financials mixed

Independent News & Media was up 5c (2%) at €2.53, following news that Australian media group APN, in which it has a 40.5% shareholding, increased net profits after tax by 16%.
Bank of Ireland fell 16c (1.1%) to €14.70. Anglo Irish Bank, the morning’s busiest share, gained 15c (1.1%) to €13.20.
Allied Irish Bank fell 20c (1%) to €18.95. Irish Life & Permanent rose 18c to €20.40.
CRH was up 24c at €29.39.
