High oil prices have €9m effect on Fyffes
02/05/2006 - 13:38:33Fyffes expects that increasing oil prices will impact on its 2006 full-year results to the tune of €9m.
The group says that a ‘significant increase’ in the cost of shipping fuel was higher than expected, and is not being recovered under current selling prices.
Fyffes says it does not expect any change in this imbalance in the medium term.
