Wentworth date for duo
01/05/2006 - 10:27:05Ryder Cup star Luke Donald and Australian Adam Scott have confirmed they will play in the BMW Championship at Wentworth later this month.
The pair, ranked nine and 10 in the world, will add to the star-studded field for the European Tour’s flagship event from May 25-28.
Englishman Donald, who was born 30 miles down the road from Wentworth in High Wycombe, finished in a tie for 18th on his debut in the event last year.
Scott last appeared two years ago, when he was 11th, but with changes to the West Course making it play 236 yards longer the big-hitting Australian could be at more of an advantage.
