Holohans shocked at publication of O’Donoghue interview
01/05/2006 - 08:35:42The parents of Robert Holohan are reported to be shocked and upset after the publication yesterday of an interview with the schoolboy's killer.
In a Sunday newspaper yesterday, Wayne O'Donoghue apologised for killing the 11-year-old, but insisted he was not a paedophile.
O'Donoghue from Ballyedmond in Midleton was acquitted of the murder of his neighbour Robert Holohan, but pleaded guilty to his manslaughter at the Central Criminal Court in Cork last December.
