HP and Vodafone sign datacard deal
30/04/2006 - 17:01:10HP and Vodafone Ireland have announced a new promotion which will see a Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G datacard bundled with every HP commercial laptop, subject to the customer signing up for a business plan with Vodafone.
The promotion is available across the entire range of HP laptops. Sharptext has been announced as the distributor for the promotion.
Speaking at the announcement, Martin Cullen, Head of PSG and SPO Ireland, HP, said: “The joint initiative is part of HP’s ongoing mobility strategy, which stretches from HP’s laptops to new handheld converged hw6900 series. Increased mobility is key to raising worker productivity.”
The Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G datacard provides users with access to email and the internet.
