First Polish comedy night gears up for weekend
27/04/2006 - 10:31:52Ireland's first Polish comedy night will take place this Sunday, April 30 at The Laughter Lounge on Dublin's Eden Quay. The night will feature Poland¹s top comedian Grzegorz Halama.
"The Polish community is one of the largest ethnic groups in Ireland," said Laughter Lounge owner Peter O¹Mahony.
"There are Polish pubs, newspaper supplements, even TV programmes the demand for tickets is so great we could have to put on three shows."
The Laughter Lounge re-opened in February following three years in redevelopment.
