26/04/2006 - 15:06:48The chip which set up Paul Broadhurst’s victory at the Portuguese Open has earned him the European Tour’s RBS Shot of the Month award for March.
Needing a birdie to avoid a play-off with Anthony Wall the defending champion missed the green at the closing par five, but chipped to 18 inches.
Second place went to Swede Johan Edfors for his eight-iron to eight feet on the last as he won the TCL Classic in China, while third was Mardam Mamat for his closing chip in his Singapore Masters victory.
