Zander joins BMW-Sauber
25/04/2006 - 11:49:36BMW-Sauber have announced the signing of former Williams design boss Jorg Zander.
The 42-year-old left Williams recently having only joined in September but he not stayed out of Formula One for long and will take over as BMW-Sauber’s chief designer on July 1.
BMW motorsport director Mario Theissen said: “The development of the team continues to move forward, and that includes adding a chief designer to our staff line-up.
“We are certain that in Jorg Zander we have found the right man for this pivotal position. His experience will be an important asset to us.”
