Arsenal wait on Senderos
Arsenal are sweating on the fitness of defender Philippe Senderos ahead of tomorrow night’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Villarreal in Spain.
The centre-half suffered a knee injury in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham on Saturday, so veteran England defender Sol Campbell could return after recovering from an operation on a broken nose.
Captain Thierry Henry started on the bench at the weekend, along with Cesc Fabregas, while midfielders Freddie Ljungberg and Alexander Hleb should also come back into contention after being rested.
Jose Antonio Reyes is available again following a one-match European ban, but England full-back Ashley Cole (ankle) is still not yet fully match fit.
