TGT group to roll out hybrid phone
24/04/2006 - 11:09:34Cork-based TGT group has today announced its intention to enter the Irish home phone market.
The company says it will offer "a complete 'landline', mobile and broadband package" through the phone.
TGT said the hybrid phone system will have 100% coverage throughout Ireland, as the system is based on satellite technology rather than fixed line technologies.
The prototype phone is in production and TGT said it hoped to begin its commercial launch in Ireland in Q4 this year.
