ESB sells stake in Irish Power Systems
24/04/2006 - 15:24:56The ESB has sold its 50% holding in Irish Power Systems (IPS) to Bioverda for €17m.
IPS operates and manages power generation facilities at seven local authority sites in Cos. Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow and Cork.
Bioverda is a subsidiary of National Toll Roads Plc.
The ESB has said it intends to focus its renewable energy growth strategy through Hibernian Wind Power.
