PDs vow to get tough on drink-drivers
22/04/2006 - 11:59:38The PDs are pledging to get tough on drink drivers if in government after the next election.
A motion has been passed at the party's annual conference in Limerick which, if put into law, would impose a five-year driving ban for a first drink-driving offence.
The party has also passed a motion calling for the legalisation of same-sex unions in the lifetime of this Government.
