Boro boss waits on fitness reports
21/04/2006 - 07:09:32Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren will hope to have two of his most senior players back from injury for Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final clash with West Ham.
Skipper Gareth Southgate missed the 1-0 UEFA Cup defeat by Steaua Bucharest in Romania with an ankle problem, while striker Mark Viduka remained behind on Teesside for intensive treatment on a thigh problem.
Chris Riggott was suspended for the European game and will return to the squad as McClaren attempts to cope with the pressures of a gruelling schedule.
