ISEQ ends week on a high
21/04/2006 - 17:49:36The ISEQ index of shares ended the week on a high after a good day for financial stocks.
The Dublin market closed up 63.95 points at 7896.78, as Irish Life & Permanent led the charge with gains of 35c to €20.
Bank of Ireland was up 25c to €14.83, AIB gained 17c to €18.77 and Anglo Irish was unchanged at €13.05.
Pharmaceutical company Elan was also on the up, adding 28c to close at €11.98.
Meanwhile, Kerry group was up 25c to €20.
