Four men in custody after Lurgan bomb find

Four men remain in police custody in the North this morning following the discovery of a suspected dissident republican bomb factory in Co Armagh.

The four, aged between 22 and 46, were arrested yesterday after the PSNI raided a yard in Lurgan.

The PSNI said a 250lb bomb was being assembled at the yard and an imminent attack had been foiled.

Those making the device have been widely condemned as the yard is located in a busy residential area.
