Goodrem's mum blasts engagement rumours
19/04/2006 - 17:57:47Singer Delta Goodrem's mum and manager Lea has slammed reports her daughter is engaged to Irish singer Brian McFadden.
Rumours the couple were engaged started swirling after pictures emerged of the 'Lost without you' singer wearing a large diamond ring on her wedding finger.
Her mother says that while the couple are in love, they are not tying the knot just yet.
She explains: "It's a friendship ring.
"It's from jeweller David Yurman in New York, who supplies Delta with lots of jewellery."
