Bellamy fit for action
18/04/2006 - 11:07:57Blackburn striker Craig Bellamy will be fit for tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership clash against Birmingham at St Andrews.
Bellamy received a kick on the back of a thigh from Jamie Carragher that required treatment on the pitch during Sunday’s 1-0 Ewood Park defeat to Liverpool, but “will be okay” according to manager Mark Hughes.
Although Hughes has no other injury worries, he has suggested a few changes may be made, which could see a start for Florent Sinama Pongolle as the striker was ineligible to play against his former club.
Provisional squad: Friedel, Enckelman, Neill, Nelsen, Pedersen, Reid, Gray, Savage, Todd, Khizanishvili, Bentley, Kuqi, Emerton, Dickov, Bellamy, Mokoena, Matteo, Peter, Sinama Pongolle.
