Men quizzed over heroin seizure
18/04/2006 - 11:00:47Heroin worth around €15,000 was seized in a hotel room in Co Clare early this morning.
Gardaí from the Drugs Unit arrested two men in their 30s following a search of the hotel room in the Ennis town area shortly after 12.30am.
Depending on the result of forensic analysis of the substance, the seizure may have a potential street value of €15,600.
Both men are being detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act at Ennis Garda Station.
