Man found dead in Athlone house 'died of natural causes'
18/04/2006 - 20:39:17Gardaí this evening confirmed this evening that a man found dead in a derelict house in Athlone yesterday died of natural causes.
The man, who’s believed to have been in his mid-fifties, had not yet been formally identified.
The body was discovered in the run-down house on Griffith Street by passers-by at around 4pm yesterday.
Gardaí said they believed his body had lain there undiscovered for more than a week.
