11 killed on roads over Bank Holiday
17/04/2006 - 13:02:05Another person has been killed on the roads.
A 63-year-old man died following a single vehicle crash in Rathangan, Co Kildare last night.
His body was discovered at about eight o'clock this morning and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
This latest death brings to 11 the number of people killed on Irish roads this weekend after a 40-year-old male motorcyclist was also found dead after a collision with a car in Co Cavan last night.
Motorists are being urged to be extra careful today when travelling home today after the Easter break.
The AA Roadwatch has asked drivers to slow down in particular.
