Tipp come out best in Semple Stadium goal-fest

It was raining goals and points at Semple Stadium as Tipperary did just enough to beat Offaly and qualify for the NHL Division One semi-finals.
Goals from Eoin Kelly and Micheal Webster sent Bab Keating's Tipp side in at the break with a 2-7 to 1-8 buffer. Joe Bergin grabbed Offaly's goal.
On the restart, Brian Carroll smashed a shot beyond Tipp 'keeper Brendan Cummins.
Tipp put on a burst before Alan Egan netted on 54 minutes to level at 3-12 to 2-15.
But Tipp finished the stronger with points from Colin Morrissey, Ken Dunne (0-03), Webster and John O'Brien.
