Sweet sixteen in Rosebery

14/04/2006 - 14:03:50
Michael Stoute’s Rohaani heads 16 runners in the Coral Rosebery Stakes at Kempton on Saturday.

Stoute’s charge has only tasted defeat once in four outings – which was in the ultra-competitive John Smith’s Stakes at Newbury at the end of last season.

The four-year-old is set to be partnered by Richard Hills in the 10-furlong event.

Kandidate tops the weights after dead-heating with Vanderlin in the Doncaster Mile last month.

Prolific all-weather scorer Young Mick has been upped in class, while Bravo Maestro and Divine Gift, first and second respectively in the Lincoln Trial at Wolverhampton in March, also reappear.

Ed Dunlop’s progressive colt Red Racketeer will be ridden by Frankie Dettori, while Richard Fahey's Realism looks to bounce back from a disappointing showing in the Lincoln at Redcar.
