Gardaí seize arms in Co Clare
14/04/2006 - 18:57:12Gardaí have discovered two shotguns, four revolvers, three rifles and a small quantity of explosives and ammunition in County Clare.
The items were found as part of an ongoing investigation into organized crime in the Clare area.
Gardaí were assisted by an Army Ordnance team at the search location in the Cratloe area.
The scene has been sealed off and a full technical examination of the area is now underway.
No arrests have yet been made but investigations are continuing.
