13/04/2006 - 08:22:15
Hundreds of people are expected to attend a free open-air performance of Handel's Messiah in Dublin today.

The Messiah was premiered at a charity concert in Temple Bar's Fishamble Street in 1742.

Today's outdoor rendition is taking place at the same spot as that debut performance.
