Goodrem American plans on hold
13/04/2006 - 13:30:34Delta Goodrem has put her plans to break into the US on hold.
The singer has pulled the May release of her American debut album after a lukewarm reaction to her single Lost Without You. Yesterday, she said: "The timing wasn't right and timing is crucial for a new artist."
Holidaying in the Bahamas with boyfriend Brian McFadden, Delta Goodrem also revealed she would leave her New York base, as it is so far away from her family and Brian is also so far away from his.
"It can be really depressing" she said, adding: "We don't want to isolate ourselves again."
Now they plan to spend some time in Australia and some in Dublin, as well as spending some time in LA because there are so many songwriters there.
