AIB announces new online international payments service
13/04/2006 - 11:09:11AIB has announced the introduction of a new online international payments service to meet increasing demand from foreign nationals.
The bank says the number of payments to Poland alone increased to 60,000 last year compared to just 6,000 in 2003.
In all, one million international transactions were made in 2005.
AIB is urging its customers to use the on-line system as it is cheaper than accessing the service at bank branches.
