Osman loses goals
11/04/2006 - 11:19:37Everton’s young midfielder Leon Osman has had two goals taken away from him by the Premier League’s dubious goals committee.
Osman thought he had scored against Wigan and Portsmouth in January, but those strikes have now been credited as own goals by David Thompson and Andy O’Brien respectively.
Osman said: “I am very upset to say the least. I felt I scored them both. I think that what is said immediately after the game should stand.
“I feel I got the last touch to both efforts. One was when my foot was actually kicked against the ball by an opponent.”
