Injury rules Cusiter out for four months

Scotland and Border Reivers scrum-half Chris Cusiter has been ruled out of action for up to four months with a chest injury.

Scans on the injury, suffered during Scotland’s RBS Six Nations Championship victory over Italy, have confirmed significant damage.

Cusiter said: “I am obviously disappointed to be out until August, because I’ll miss Scotland’s summer tour to South Africa and the end of a productive season with the Borders.

“I’m just looking forward to putting in a good pre-season and staying optimistic about the future.”
