Gaffney in line for Saracens job
11/04/2006 - 10:16:16Former Munster coach Alan Gaffney is in line to return to the northern hemisphere as director of rugby at Guinness Premiership club Saracens.
Gaffney returned to Australia for a contract as Wallaby backs coach. He was dropped from the job on the appointment of John Connolly.
Saracens chief executive Mark Sinderberry admitted: "Gaffney is one of the people we spoke to.
"We expect to make an announcement in the next couple of days as we finalise who will be our new director of rugby."
