Frankie Dettori had the 7-4 favourite smartly away in the five-furlong contest and he was still powering along at halfway as his seven rivals struggled to go with the pace.
Although Rippling River came through to challenge in the closing stages, the John Best-trained Urban Warrior dug deep to come home a one-length winner.
Rippling River took second, a length and a quarter ahead of Goose Green.
