Young making retirement plans

Will Young may have only had a few years of glory in the pop charts but it looks like he’s already making plans for his ‘retirement’.

The singer has revealed he’s writing a cabaret and a kids’ show and would also like to get involved in documentary making, The Sun reports.

He said: “I reckon I’ve got two more years of being a pop star then I’d like to be recognised for something else.

“The pop star thing is cool but it’s a business, which does get frustrating. Slowly, I’ll phase out music and become a svengali in the documentary world.”
