Kerry makes American acquisitions
11/04/2006 - 12:10:29Kerry has acquired two North American food ingredients businesses, Custom Industries and Nuvex Ingredients.
The businesses, with annual revenues of $83.7m (€69.1m) were acquired for a total consideration of $83m (€68.5m).
Custom Industries makes particulates for bakery and ready-to-eat cereal and ingredients for sweet goods. It operates from Missouri, USA, and Toronto, Canada.
Nuvex Ingredients, based in Minnesota, USA, specialises in high-protein and high-fibre nutritional lines.
