Good news for Dragon can't cheer ISEQ
The ISEQ index slipped 28.33 to stand at 7898.82 at 10.30am today.
Dragon Oil gained 23c (8.8%) to €2.83 following news that production has begun again following a blocked pipeline offshore Turkmenistan.
Ryanair fell 18c (2.4%) to €7.35. The airline is pressurising the Polish government to reform airport management in the country and open a secondary airport for Warsaw.
Kingspan rose 15c (1.1%) to €13.15. CRH fell 30c (1%) to €28.38, and was the morning’s busiest share.
Anglo Irish Bank fell 15c (1.1%) to €12.92. Irish Life and Permanent was down 5c at €19.85.
Allied Irish Bank slipped 2c to €19.18. Bank of Ireland (BoI) was also down 2c, at €14.88. BoI this morning announced it had appointed a new head for its loan syndications operation in the UK.
Insurer FBD fell 40c (1%) to €38.60.
Elan slipped 10c to €11.60. The pharmaceutical this morning announced March dates for its first-quarter results and AGM.
