110 feared dead in Ghana boat disaster
10/04/2006 - 14:29:51A boat carrying about 150 passengers on a lake in Ghana has sunk and 110 people are missing and feared dead, police said today.
Only 40 people are known to have survived Friday’s accident on Ghana’s Lake Volta.
Hopes are fading that more will be found, said Akwasi Anyidoho, a police official in the region.
