TGTMobile+ rejects takeover offers
10/04/2006 - 12:21:00Cork company TGTMobile+ has said it has declined all bids for the firm, after media speculation regarding its possible takeover.
The company provides roaming for mobile phone users worldwide.
Communications Director for TGTMobile+ Sean McCarthy said: "We have been approached by a number of the larger international mobile phone companies regarding our business, but have declined all offers. We are committed to our existing customers, and believe staying private will lead to further innovation and cheaper calls for our customers.
"Sales of our low-cost international roaming product have been beyond our targets by a fourfold factor," he said.
