Irish companies failing to capitalise on thriving Chinese economy – survey

61% of Irish business owners had failed to capitalise on the booming Chinese economy, it was warned today.

The Grant Thornton International Business Owners Survey has shown that only 4% of Irish business owners export to mainland China or have formal plans to do so in the next two years.

The survey has also shown that only 12% view China as an opportunity for their businesses and 17% view China as a threat to their businesses.
