Offaly relegated after Fermanagh clash

Offaly battled bravely at Enniskillen, but Kevin Kilmurray’s side have been relegated to Division Two.
Other results conspired against the Faithfuls as they roared to their first league win since their opening day defeat of Cork.
Offaly were 3-06 to 0-05 in front at the break – Pascal Kelleghan (10 minutes), Neville Coughlan (25) and Niall McNamee (27) all goaled. McNamee hit 1-03 in the first half.
Eamonn Maguire and Ryan Keenan then found the net for the hosts. Captain Karol Slattery rattled in Offaly’s fourth goal on 66 minutes, but the score mattered little as Cork triumphed in Monaghan.
