Goldberg to star on Law & Order
09/04/2006 - 16:04:17Oscar-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg is set to shock fans by playing a baddie in TV crime drama Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
The Ghost star, 50, will share the screen with Chris Noth's character Detective Mike Logan and Sepatha Merkerson's Lieutenant Van Buren, in a May episode.
Goldberg will play foster mother Chesley Watkins, who turns to the dark side.
Fred Berner, executive producer of Law & Order, enthuses: "Whoopi never gets to be the bad guy. In the world of Criminal Intent she'll be the baddest."
