Gardaí seize heroin in Dublin
08/04/2006 - 15:28:58Gardaí at Kevin St, Dublin seized two kilos of heroin with a potential street value of €400,000 at approximately 8am today.
Confirmation of the value of the haul depends on forensic analysis.
A quantity of cash was also seized.
The drugs were seized in a flat in an inner city complex as part of an on-going operation.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene and is being detained under the provisions of Section 2, Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Kevin St garda station.
