Cork drugs raids yield 350kgs of cannabis

Gardaí today seized cannabis with a potential street value of €2.5m following two raids in Cork.

An estimated 250kgs of the drug was recovered at an unspecified location in the city.

Earlier today 100kgs of cannabis was seized when a van was stopped and searched in Tower, Blarney.

The driver of the van, a man in his 30s, was arrested and is being questioned at Gurranabraher Garda Station.

It is understood both raids are connected.
