The charmingly funny characters encountered in the original - the mammoth, the tiger and the sloth - return for another satisfying adventure, this time undertaking another danger-fraught journey to safety.
The ice meltdown is threatening their peaceful valley so off they go, encountering some new and amusing pals along the way.
It's a fun, clever film with plenty of snappy one-liners and nail-chewing situations.
