Students lobby TDs on education funding
04/04/2006 - 10:27:47The Union of Students in Ireland has been lobbying TDs to support their demands for increased spending on education.
University access and funding are two of the major concerns they want addressed.
USI President Tony McDonnell has claimed action is needed to break down barriers to third level education.
"The current grant system is ineffective and there is a lack of graduate equality in third level," he said.
