Two held after service station raids

Gardaí are investigating two attempted robberies at service stations in West Dublin this morning.

They happened on the Navan Road and in Mulhuddart between 5am and 6.30am.

In each case two men wearing scarves around their faces and armed with a knife or a screwdriver and a firearm demanded cash from staff.

Both were later arrested and no-one was injured.
