Bohemians finally came good to leapfrog Waterford off the foot of the table.

Bohs miserable season looked set to continue as they found themselves a goal down after three minutes when Pole Andrew Polewczak shot home Ian Fraher‘s cross.

But Bohs hit back to score their first goal in over six hours when Tony Grant beat the offside trap to get onto Stephen Ward’s pass to finish.

Blues regained the lead on 40 minutes when Stephen Grant availed of a scramble in the Bohs box to shoot past Stephen O’Brien.

But Bohs were level again within three minutes; player/boss Gareth Farrelly drilling home a penalty after Krystian Lamberski handled.

Skipper Kevin Hunt put Bohs in front on 49 minutes after Jimmy Fyfe could only parry a shot from Aidan O’keeffe.

Ward added the fourth goal in the final minute when punishing a defensive error.
