Search resumes for bodies of missing fishermen

31/03/2006 - 07:55:55
The search for the bodies of two fishermen missing since the sinking of their trawler on Wednesday night is continuing off the Co Wexford coast today.

Three men - a Co Cork skipper and two Polish nationals - were on board the Maggie B when it sank near Hook Head.

One of the Poles was rescued from the water around half an hour later, but the other two crewmen are still missing and feared drowned.

They have been named as Glen Cotte, from Ballycotton in Co Cork, and Jan Sankowski, from Poland.

The search for their bodies is being widened today in the hope that the remains can be found and brought ashore.
