Prince stages comeback

The singer's new CD, 3121, sold 183,000 copies in its first week, sending him straight to the top of the chart.
His last chart-topping US album was the Batman soundtrack in 1989. He had also enjoyed number one success with Around the World in a Day and Purple Rain.
Two years ago, his last album Musicology sold more copies in the US in its first week than 3121, with 191,000 copies sold - but that was only enough to enter the chart at number three at the time.
