New Teaching Council to be formally launched today
28/03/2006 - 08:24:38A new body to regulate the teaching profession is being formally launched by the Government today.
All teachers will be required to register with the Teaching Council, which aims to promote the profession and develop codes of conduct for educators.
The 37-member body will include representatives of all the partners in education and parental bodies.
