Longford to face Rovers tonight
27/03/2006 - 11:29:45Longford Town will hoping to get their season up and running when they face Sligo Rovers in tonight’s rearranged fixture at Flancare Park.
After Friday’s clash with Bray Wanderers was rained off, it meant that Longford have played just one game to date this season while almost every other club has played three.
But Longford will now look to get their season up and running with a win to follow their opening game draw with Shelbourne and will have a full strength squad to choose from with Dave Mooney back from a thigh problem.
Sligo Rovers will also be at full strength and will be looking to bounce back from Friday’s 3-1 defeat by Derry City.
