Man charged in connection with Cork drugs seizures
25/03/2006 - 08:50:10A 26-year-old man has been released on bail after appearing before a special sitting of the District Court in Cork last night, charged in connection with a €70,000 drugs seizure in the city earlier this week.
Unemployed father of one Patrick O'Donovan, from 3 Grange Cottages, Grange in Cork, was charged with possession and possession for sale or supply of cocaine.
He was arrested on Thursday.
During follow up raids in the city, Gardai discovered a cocaine mixing factory, and seized cocaine with an estimated street value of €1m, another man was arrested in connection with the haul.
Mr O'Donovan will appear again at Cork District Court on April 12.
